Impact Grants are presented through a partnership with News Channel 3 and the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation. Representatives from both entities look for local 501(c)3 nonprofits to recognize for their outstanding work to improve people's lives and help those in need. The Berger Foundation presents Impact Grants of various amounts to selected nonprofits, and each organization also receives media coverage about its mission across a variety of News Channel 3’s platforms. Impact Grants are awarded on the concept that through service, funding, and awareness, we are "Making a Difference Together."

ABC Recovery Center receives $45,000 Impact Grant

News Channel 3 and the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation presented another Impact Grant to a local nonprofit working to improve lives and help those in need. A $45,000 charitable gift was awarded to the ABC Recovery Center in Indio, which aims to help those with substance use disorders achieve lifelong sobriety and re-enter
