January Coachella Valley Spotlight recipient: LifeStream Blood Bank

January's Coachella Valley Spotlight Recipient is LifeStream Blood Bank.

LifeStream Blood Bank's mission is to help save lives by connecting donors and patients through the gift of blood.

They are an exclusive blood bank for all Coachella Valley hospitals.

LifeStream Blood Bank plans to use the $25,000 grant from the Berger Foundation to purchase medical equipment, blood testing supplies, automated blood collecting machines as well as computers and printers. These items would help them fill the current deficit of 4,000 pints-per-year needed to make sure that all of the blood supplied to our Coachella Valley hospitals is collected locally from our community.
