September Coachella Valley Spotlight Recipient: Volunteers in Medicine

September’s Coachella Valley Spotlight Recipient is Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine.

CVVIM is the only no-charge clinic providing healthcare to medically underserved Coachella Valley residents.

Volunteers in Medicine work to provide healthcare services to low-income, adult residents of the Coachella Valley who are uninsured or who can’t afford to access their insurance.

The $25,000 grant from the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation will be used for information technology upgrades to help with scheduling patient appointments and performing online background checks on volunteers and running reports and pulling information from databases to report activities and services.
