May’s Coachella Valley Spotlight Recipient is Olive Crest.

Olive Crest is a nonprofit that has served the Coachella Valley since 2001. Their mission is to prevent child abuse. They treat and educate children who are at-risk. Their award-winning programs help out over 400 families in the valley. Their vision is "A Strong Family for Every Child." Their ultimate goal is to restore broken families.

The $25,000 grant from the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation will go towards housing, stability, and increased safety net services for the increased number of children that are served at Olive Crest's Coachella Valley Children's Center. Their team plans to use this grant money for community outreach services, safe and caring temporary homes, and case management.
