Firefighters battle fire at abandoned Eagle Mountain Prison

CAL Fire officials said that firefighters were on the scene of a fire at the former Eagle Mountain Prison in Desert Center.

Firefighters responded to the abandoned prison just after 8 Saturday morning.

Fire officials say that one building was fully involved in flames.

There is no word yet on the cause of the blaze.
