Man arrested after robbery in La Quinta

A man is behind bars following a robbery in La Quinta.

Investigators said the incident happened Thursday night after 8 p.m. off Adams Street. They say the suspect approached the victim, assaulted him, and took his wallet and cell phone. The victim had minor injuries.

Investigators said they identified the suspect as a La Quinta resident. He was found off Roudel Lane and arrested without incident. He's now facing robbery charges.
