The Warm-Up Continues through Tomorrow

Despite an area of low pressure lingering off the coast, highs today will surpass those of yesterday (102) and continue to climb through tomorrow. That low pressure system will funnel partly cloudy skies into the region today.

You can expect partly cloudy skies and slightly increased humidity and dew point values throughout the afternoon and early evening.

Because of the increasing temps, we're under an Excessive Heat Watch (which will become a warning) through Thursday as temps hit 110 by tomorrow.

The unseasonally hot weather subsides heading into the weekend, with highs dropping into the nineties, and hovering near the seasonal normal of 98 degrees.
