A Cooling Trend Begins… Tomorrow

We hit 115 yesterday, the hottest day of the year thus far (an important distinction). And Thermal set a record for the day as well at 115, besting the 114 record set in 2016.

While we aren't like to threaten records, the heat remains with us today. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. today.

An area of low pressure moves in late today, giving us breezy conditions and ushering in cooler numbers for Friday and the weekend ahead.

Winds will reach 25-30mph hour in wind-prone areas, and 20mph on the Valley floor.

This will deliver a ten to twelve degree cooler day by tomorrow, and temperatures drop to the mid-nineties by Saturday!
