Top-notch Thursday with somewhat seasonal temperatures

Headlines

Palm Springs has done it again! The city has managed to maintain a cool down for three straight days! No, it's not actually that impressive but we were in the 90s on Monday so we'll take what we can get.

While cooler than last week, the Coachella Valley (and the rest of the Golden State) is still experiencing temperatures that aren't all that November-like. An average high for today's date is 78°.

Friday will provide a similar setup to today with a mixture of sunshine and clouds, along with afternoon highs in the low and mid 80s.

A ridge of high pressure will build over the Eastern Pacific by the weekend bringing a clearing of skies and another round of temperatures near 90°

There is a bigger cool down in our desert's extended forecast that even has the possibility to bring the first rain of the season! Stay tuned!
