A warm and sunny weekend with a big cool down on the way

Rain chances move in next week

Temperatures will remain to stay above the seasonal average. This afternoon will be warmer than Friday. Friday, for Palm Springs, the high temperature was 84° with a low of 56°. The normal is 77° with a low of 52°. High pressure will build off of the west coast today and warm up temperatures as well as move out cloud cover. Leaving behind a warm and sunny day across the Coachella Valley.

High temperatures expected to stay well above the seasonal normal through the weekend. We're talking about 10°+ where they should be.

Looking ahead to the middle of next week, big changes are on the way. Temperatures will cool to the 60's with rain chances moving into the region. The biggest changes for the Coachella Valley to see any rainfall will be Wednesday and Thursday.

Before then, we will continue to see the warmer weather and sunny conditions prevail.
