Talk about a cooldown! Palm Springs' recorded high of 68° is FOURTEEN degrees cooler than yesterday! Bundle up with temperatures in the 50s sticking with us through the evening hours.

Heavy rain has already proved to be problematic for mountain roads like HWY 243. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for area mountains through late tonight.

Showers will continue to flow into the Coachella Valley through the evening. The heaviest rainfall will remain to our south in San Diego and Imperial counties.

For elevations over 5,000', a Winter Storm Warning went into effect this morning and will remain in effect through 7 p.m. tomorrow. Ski resorts could collect up to a foot of snow!

Thursday will be another cool day with highs in the 60s. Gradual drying and warming will take place for the final days of the week.
