Warmer and drier weekend ahead

Headlines

Slightly warmer across the Southland this afternoon with Palm Springs and Thermal both recording a high temperature of 71°. That's just three degrees below the norm.

A slight warm-up will join us this weekend as a weak ridge of high pressure develops over the west coast. A mostly cloudy start to Saturday will clear to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon.

Sunday will be the warmest day of the week as another Pacific storm system sets itself up to impact the Golden State by the middle of the next week. Prepare for more wet weather as we near the Thanksgiving holiday.
