Heat Poised to Return and Set Records
Highs were in the upper-nineties over the weekend, and will hit that level again later today, but by tomorrow, the Valley will once again feel the summer-like heat with an Excessive Heat Watch likely to become a warning.
Today, we'll flirt with triple digits, but numbers will be similar to the weekend.
Into the remainder of the week, highs will threaten records, reaching close to 110 degrees as we move through midweek, with only a minor drop by the weekend.
