Below seasonal average to start the week

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) — Temperatures are comfortable to start the new week, with highs in the low 90s. This will also be the low for the week, so enjoy the cooler temps while they last!

It is slightly muggy this morning after some overnight showers, but it should dry out as the day progresses and temperatures rise.

We continue to monitor hurricanes Polo and Odalys, as Polo looks to cross Baja California later today and Odalys continues to bring moisture into Southern California with northeastern flow.

Today will be the coolest day of the week, as temperatures ramp up toward the century mark and will remain right around there through.
