Staying warm this week!
THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – 80s remain plentiful throughout our region this week. It's been a warm stretch to start February. We've seen highs in the low 80s across the valley so far on Monday. We expect the warmest days of the week to arrive shortly!
Here's a look at temperatures tonight. An evening stroll will certainly be comfortable.

Highs tomorrow are expected to be warmer than today. Warmer, drier air is being ushered in by increasing offshore flow. That's going bring our temps into the mid 80s, if not the upper 80s, for Tuesday.

Offshore flow means typically means Santa Ana winds, but those impacts should be minimal for the Coachella Valley. A few stray breezes Tuesday through Thursday should be expected, by gusts appear to stay below 20 MPH for most desert cities. Windier spots like Desert Hot Springs could see more elevated winds, as is typical. Here's a look at dinnertime on Tuesday night.

Tuesday and Wednesday appear to be the warmest days on the agenda. Gradual cooling occurs as offshore flow weakens past Thursday. A low pressure system begins to influence our weather pattern with further cooling into the weekend and beyond – a return to the 70s looks possible, though those numbers still remain slightly above average.
