Cooler, drier conditions into the week

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) — Yesterday was muggy here in the Coachella Valley, but already it is noticeably drier outside today.

Accompanying the drier conditions is a cooling trend, bringing the high today near the seasonal average of 103 degrees.

The gradual cooling trend will lead us to our lows for the week on Tuesday and Wednesday, with forecasts right above the century mark. Forecasts also expect the drier conditions to continue through the cooling trend.
