Public invited to procession for Officer Suresh Krause
The body of U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Suresh Krause will arrive in Palm Springs Sunday morning.
Krause’s body will be brought in on a private jet, according to Krause’s uncle, Brody Schmidt.
The jet is scheduled to land at 9:30 a.m. followed by a private ceremony featuring Patriot Guards, who will help load the casket into a vehicle.
The motorcade will travel from Signature Air to Forest Lawn Mortuaries in Cathedral City.
The general public will have the opportunity to view the motorcade and pay respects at any point during the procession.
Patriot Guards will guide the motorcade beginning at Gene Autry, then to Dinah Shore, then Da Vall before finally arriving at Forest Lawn on the 69800 block of Ramon Road.
Krause’s body will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn. A service with full military honors will follow at Desert Memorial Park the same day.
