Flood damage hotline

Riverside county has set up a flood damage hotline in response to flooding in the Mecca area earlier this month (September). Residents and businesses in and around Mecca can call 211 to report damage caused by the flooding from a heavy down-pour early in the day on September 11th, 2012.

County officials have been working with community organizers to provide temporary housing to some residents whose homes were damaged. The 211 system is designed to give the community a one-stop sources to report problems and ask questions.
