9 arrested in probation checks in Desert Hot Springs

Eight adults and one juvenile are being held after a Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force operation in the city of Desert Hot Springs.

The task force conducted 29 probation checks with assistance from the Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force, Indio Police Department Special Enforcement Team, California Highway Patrol, Desert Hot Springs Police Department, and the Riverside County Probation Department.

Authorities seized three firearms and 3.5 grams of methamphetamine.

Those arrested include:

39-year old Aaron Lindwedel on a parole violation.
20-year old Gladimiro Moreno on possession of a loaded firearm and child endangerment.
34-year old Michelle Cole on parole violation.
35-year old Joshua Chapa on possession of methamphetamine.
30-year old Hector Maldonado on a domestic violence warrant.
21-year old Jeari Phillips on possession of a stolen vehicle.
23-year old Salvatore Morreale on possession of a stolen vehicle.
20-year old Ruben Chavez on possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation.
