Update: Victim identified in Sky Valley rollover crash
Update: The Riverside County Coroner’s Office said the man killed in a crash Saturday morning in Sky Valley was 33-year-old Manuel Cuevas of Thousand Palms.
One person is dead and another person is recovering in the hospital after a single vehicle rollover crash in Sky Valley.
CAL Fire said the rollover happened just after 10 a.m. Saturday on Dillon Road east of Thousand Palms Canyon Road.
Fire crews said the car rolled off the roadway and had major damage.
One person died at the scene and the other had to be cut from the wreckage, that person was airlifted to a local hospital with major injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
