Warm and dry… for now

80s once again across the Coachella Valley. Above-normal temperatures remain the forecast into Friday before a cold front brings much cooler air to the desert.

An approaching low pressure system will move into Southern California Friday night through Saturday. This storm system will bring both rain and snow to the southwest, including Riverside county.

Current rainfall estimates for the valley floor look to be less than a tenth of an inch, while the High Desert will receive a bit more.

Talk about a cool down! We're dropping from the 80s to the 60s on Saturday but will warm up closer to seasonal averages for Sunday.
