Indio & Palm Springs residents enjoy evening out with police

It was a much-needed distraction for people across the valley, “National Night Out” in Indio and Palm Springs brought locals together with local law enforcement.

“This is a great chance for our residents throughout the city to come out and talk with our police officers, or rescue people, our ambulance people, all the people in public safety,” said Palm Springs Mayor Robert Moon.

The event had a little something for everyone; free food, games, live entertainment, all for the community to support each other for a positive night out on the town.

“It just makes me happy to know that people care about our fellow police officers,” said Jaime Addison, a child who attended the event.
