In the Line of Duty: One Year Later full news special

KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 pay tribute to fallen Palm Springs police officers Lesley Zerebny and Jose “Gil” Vega in a 30-minute special.

Officers Zerebny and Vega were gunned down on Oct. 8, 2016, while they were answering a domestic call in Palm Springs.

Hear from the families of the fallen officers and officers who were there on that tragic day and learn how they are coping with the loss one year later.

Palm Springs Police Lt. Mike Kovaleff takes us back to the scene of the crime and we have an intimate sit-down interview with Palm Springs Police Chief Bryan Reyes.
