Yucca Valley man arrested, suspected of possession of stolen dirt bike

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possession of a stolen off-road motorcycle.

At around 7:20 p.m., the Yucca Valley Multiple Enforcement Team conducted a security check at a residence located on the 7600 block of Joshua View Drive in Yucca Valley.

Jaden Derry was contacted inside a detached garage on the property. Derry was found to be in possession of a stolen 2004 Honda dirt bike that was reported stolen out of Landers two days earlier, according to authorities.

Derry was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and felony committed while being released from custody on your own recognizance.

Previously, on September 29, Derry was arrested for possession of a concealed dirk or dagger and was later released from custody.

Derry was not to commit any felony crime while being out of custody.

Derry was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and is being held on $100,000 bail.
