The Palm Springs Police Department said the body of a homeless man was found a campsite around 5:35 p.m. Saturday.
The death is believed to be medical-related. The watch commander on duty said officers did not find anything suspicious at the scene, which was located near the intersection of Indian Canyon and Racquet Club.
The man is believed to have been in his late 50s. The Riverside County Sheriff and Coroner’s Office is investigating.
