Man injured in overnight shooting in Desert Hot Springs
Desert Hot Springs police have confirmed an overnight shooting on the 68-100 block of Calle Las Tiendas near Hacienda Avenue and Mountain View Road in Desert Hot Springs.
Police say they do not have many details at this time, but they did confirm the shooting and that there was a victim.
According to DHS PD Deputy Chief Jim Henson, an adult male was found with non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the lower body. He was taken to the hospital. No suspect info at this time.

We spoke with a neighbor in the area who tells us she heard three “pops,” and then saw an ambulance arrive on scene.
We’re told police have left the scene, but the shooting is still under investigation.
