Car fire contained at Desert Regional Medical Center
A car fire at a parking structure in Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs caused a brief evacuation Monday afternoon.
Richard Ramhoff, director of marketing for Desert Regional Medical Center, said that Palm Springs Fire Department contained the fire and will remain on scene to get the smoke off the 2nd floor of the parking structure.
Ramhoff said that some people were restricted access during this time, but they expect to have it open and cleared shortly.
Officials said no one was injured.
