Former Vice President Al Gore speaks at Palm Springs International Film Festival

Former Vice President Al Gore made an appearance in the Coachella Valley Monday morning.

He participated in a discussion at the Annenberg Theater in Palm Springs following a screening of the film ‘An Inconvenient Sequel.’

The movie is a follow-up to his 2006 Academy Award winning documentary ‘An Inconvenient Truth,’ focusing on climate change and international climate policy. The event, which was part of the Palm Springs International Film Festival, included a question and answer portion with the former Vice President and directors from the film.

During his discussion, he gave a nod to the Palm Springs area for the local commitment to fight climate change.
