Tracking a mild week ahead as the pattern changes

Good evening. It's a mild and cloudy day here locally as temperatures stay pretty close to the seasonal norm. There have been a few light drizzles throughout the day (mainly this morning), but nothing too notable. The chance for these showers will continue throughout the night, but there will be little to no accumulation.

We remain under an onshore wind pattern (blowing from the west to the east). It may be a hair breezy this evening in some of the usual spots along the freeway, in the San Gorgonio Pass, and in the higher elevations. The winds will taper off into tomorrow. By the middle to end of the week, the pattern will shift back to offshore as high pressure builds over the Southwest.

Expect some lingering moisture and clouds with highs near the seasonal average for the first few days of the workweek. High pressure will build back into the region later in the week, bringing clearer skies and offshore winds. Temperatures will warm slightly for next weekend.
