Cathedral City Hair Salon Robbed At Gunpoint

CATHEDRAL CITY -We’re learning more about a late-night robbery at a local hair salon.

Police say the gunman helda rifle or shotgun as he demanded workers give him money from a cash register at Express Beauty Salon.

It happened at just after6pmTuesday night on Rancho Vista, just west of Date Palm Drive.

Police arrived within minutes, but the guy was already gone.

Five people were inside the business at the time, but nobody was hurt.

Witnesses say the suspect was hispanic, 25 years of age, 5’5″ and 180 pounds.
