PALM SPRINGS -The Palm Springs Fire Department made quick work of a fireSaturday morning burning near the American Legion building.
The fire sparked up around two on 400 North Belardo Road.
Firefighters say some downed power lines sparked three palm trees that caught fire.
Crews rushed to the scene and were quickly able to put it out in about five minutes.
No one was hurt.
No wordon what caused the power lines to go down.
