Vehicle Slams Into San Diego Home Injuring Two

San Diego police say one person was injured when a vehicle slammed into a house early Monday.

San Diego police Officer Jane Jacobsen says the crash occurred just before 2 a.m. in the La Jolla area.

She says the driver of the vehicle fled on foot.

A San Diego Fire-Rescue dispatcher says one person was hospitalized. She didn’t know how serious the injuries were and couldn’t confirm that person was a passenger in the car.

Two people were treated by paramedics for minor injuries and they may also have been passengers.

Police told City News Service that two people were asleep in the house when the crash occurred but they were not among the injured.
