The end to Thanksgiving festivities means time to hit the stores. Thousands of shoppers from all over the country converged on the Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon, searching for the best deals. Black Friday began early at the outlets, some stores opening as early as 6 p.m.

“I definitely see lots of retail bags in all of those shoppers’ hands,” Property manager Carolina Thalasinos said. “Our parking lot is at full capacity.

“Adidas, Puma all have been extremely busy, with lines outside of their store,” Thalasinos said.

Retailers in the mall said they anticipated a rise in sales compared to last year.
