Breast Cancer lecture set for Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage

Eisenhower Medical Center’s series of free lectures during Breast Cancer Awareness Month will continue today.

“Breast Screening Recommendations: What’s Right for Me?” will be given at noon Tuesday at Eisenhower’s Lucy Curci Cancer Center in Rancho Mirage.

Additionally, free breast exams will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Oct. 30 at Eisenhower clinics in the Coachella Valley. More information is posted at www.emc.org.

Lectures are also scheduled for:

— Thursday at 5:30 p.m.: “Update on the Newest Treatment Options for Early Stage Breast Cancer.” Lucy Curci Cancer Center; and

— Oct. 29 at 4 p.m.: “Treatment Options for Metastatic Breast Cancer.” George and Julia Argyros Health Center, 45280 Seeley Drive, La Quinta.

The lectures and exams are given through Eisenhower’s Schnizter/Novack Breast Center.
