Local organization helping military personnel hosts Oktoberfest
One local organization is marking the end of summer and the beginning of the Valley’s season, with a gala Oktoberfest Party October 3.
Soldiers Organized Services or S.O.S. is an organization that provides no-cost transportation for active-duty military personnel, their families and loved ones.
The event takes place Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. at AJ’s on the Green in Cathedral City.
It’s $6 to get in and there will be lots of entertainment, music, beer and food.
