3 men steal ATM machine after driving van through Walgreens

Deputies are searching for three men accused of stealing an ATM machine from a Yucca Valley Walgreens after driving a hot-wired van through the front doors of the store early Tuesday morning.

Deputies with the Morongo Valley Station were called to the Walgreens, located at 58133 State Route 62, at 2:19 a.m. after the burglary alarm was triggered.

Authorities said the investigation revealed three males drove a large white van through the front glass doors, stole the ATM and fled the scene in the van.

The van was found a short distance from the crime scene and it was still running because it had been hot-wired, according to the release. The suspects haven’t been identified yet.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station at 760-366-4175.
