President to visit LA and San Diego this weekend

President Obama will travel to San Diego on Saturday, according to The White House. He will stay in the area overnight with no public events planned. Obama will be in Los Angeles Saturday for several fundraising events, according to KTLA. He will return Monday to Washington, D.C.

The last time Obama visited San Diego was in May of 2014, when he attended a political fundraiser at the La Jolla home of Qualcomm co-founder Irwin Jacobs. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi joined him at the $10,000-per-person lunchtime fundraiser to benefit the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
