Four desert residents arrested in stolen vehicle

Four desert residents are behind bars after being arrested in a stolen vehicle in Cathedral City.

Friday afternoon a Palm Springs police officer noticed four people inside a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Boost Mobile located off Ramon Road.

The officer ran the vehicle license plate and discovered it had been reported stolen out of Cathedral City earlier in the day.

When officers stopped the vehicle in the parking lot all four occupants attempted to get away but were quickly detained without incident.

Additional stolen property was found inside the vehicle from recent burglaries and thefts, including illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.

All four occupants were arrested for various crimes and were booked into the correctional facility in Banning.

Those arrested are Miguel Guzman,Leonor Moran,Jesus F Manjarrez Delgado andJuan Sandoval
