Francoise Rhodes travels to El Centro to catch up with the Blue Angels.

The 54,000-acre base is where the world-renowned Blue Angels train.

The 49th annual NAF El Centro Air Show is Saturday, March 12.

The event is free and includes a kid zone, classic car show and free demonstrations.

Gates open at 9 a.m.
