Naked man arrested at Joshua Tree gas station

A naked 18-year-old man who was allegedly on drugs was arrested Friday night at a Valero gas station in Joshua Tree after deputies said he was accused of fighting customers and breaking merchandise.

Authorities said Joseph Rotstein is also accused of pinning down a 29-year-old woman on the floor and pulling her hair.

The bizarre scene took place on Friday at 11:54 p.m. at 61794 Twentynine Palms Highway, according to a release from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station.

Deputies arrived to find Rotstein completely nude. The investigation revealed that Rotstein was under the influence of illegal drugs. The woman he allegedly pinned to the floor, Deseret Pinar, was also found to be under the influence and in possession of illegal drugs, deputies said.

Both Rotstein and Pinar were arrested at the gas station, authorities said.
