The victim’s mother remembered her son, Adam, and how she discovered his body.

“I saw three people leave the room and this one guy come out, locked the door behind him, took the keys, stuck it in his pocket and walked out, and told me my son was sleeping. So I thought, it was like 8:20, 8:30 in the morning and I thought why would he still be asleep and the music was on,” Linda Walker said, “So I went in, I used my spare key, went in there and checked him and um, he had his throat cut, and that’s the way I found him.”

Walker explained that her son had cerebral palsy and that the group he was with were supposed to be his friends.

“Adam was a good guy, I mean he didn’t deserve to die like that,” said Walker.

Imperial County Sheriff’s issued a news release Tuesday afternoon, saying deputies were called to the the 200 block of El Centro Avenue in Salton Sea Beach.

They found a 38-year-old man dead. Deputies say he had ‘numerous injuries to his upper torso.’

Deputies also identified four suspects in the homicide.

One is still at large. His name is Armando Taylor, he is described as a male with brown eyes and a shaved head. Taylor is 35 years old.

Walker described a car that the suspect-at-large may be driving as a blue 4-door sedan.
John Taylor, 36, Edgar Gerardo, 46, and Michael Guerra,33, were arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail.

Bail was set at $1 million each.

“He would have given the shirt off his back to help anybody. And I don’t have money to bury him; they’re going to cremate him,” added Walker.

The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, you are asked to contact the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office. Officials warn anyone who knows where Armando Taylor may be to not try to contact him.
