‘Table One Eleven’ to replace Palm Springs’ Blue Pear

After shutting its doors for good, many diners in Palm Springs wondered what would happen to the venue that used to be called The Blue Pear.”

Monday, Daniel Doiron made the announcement he had purchased the location at 2249 N. Palm Canyon Drive and planned to open a new restaurant and entertainment venue.

“The pool house will be known as ‘The Pool House at 111,'” he said in a news release. “The Blue Pear Restaurant will be renamed Table One Eleven. The property will feature a restaurant, two bars, an outdoor show room and poolside movie night on a 12 ft. by 24 ft. screen.”

Doiron was the former general manager of Palm Springs’ Ingleside Inn and a former general manager and owner of Triple D Management, which ran hotels throughout Nevada.

The outdoor area will be called The Fleet Easton outdoor show area and will feature the cabaret singer, who has entertained people in Palm Springs since 2008, he said.

The new location will open August 31, 2012.
