Statewide Amber Alert issued

(CNS) – An Amber Alert has been issued statewide this morning for a missing 16-year-old, Eunice Serrato, who was allegedly kidnapped by two men.

Serrato, who is from San Ardo, Monterrey County, was allegedly taken at 9:45 p.m. Saturday by a father and son who were driving a blue Chevy Tahoe, accordingto authorities.

Serrato is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair
and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, blue jeans and sandals.

One of the suspects was identified as 19-year-old Juan Manuel Salazar.
The missing Salazar is Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown
hair and brown eyes, possibly wearing glasses. He also could have a gunshot
wound and is considered armed and dangerous, according to authorities.

The other suspect was identified as Salazar’s father, 39-year-old Juan
Salazar, Senior. He is Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown hair and
brown eyes.

The blue 2000 Chevy Tahoe has a California license number 6W54124.
There’s no word yet on what, if any connection Serrato had with the two
suspects.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call 9-1-1 or their
local law enforcement agency.
