Woman struck by vehicle while crossing street in Palm Springs
A woman is recovering this morning after a car struck her while she crossed the street over the weekend in Palm Springs.
Police responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the 5200 block of Ramon Road east of Gene Autry Trail.
A woman was found lying on the road with minor injuries.
An investigation revealed she had been hit by a car as she walked across the street.
She was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Police say the driver cooperated and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
