Police seek 2 gunman who robbed Palm Springs residents

The Palm Springs Police Department is warning the public after two men robbed a residence Tuesday night by holding the victims at gunpoint as they followed them into their home.

Officers said the home invasion robbery happened at about 8:34 p.m. in the 2900 block of Orella Circle. The neighborhood is just west of El Cielo Road and South of Ramon Road.

Police said the two suspects are described as Hispanic men in their 20’s. They were about 5’9″ to 5’10” with medium builds. They were both wearing hooded sweatshirts, dark ski masks and dark pants at the time of the robbery, according to the release.

Police said the suspects followed the two victims into the home through an open garage door. They both hand handguns and demanded money and property.

The suspects took cash and some personal items and fled the scene in a smaller two-door vehicle that may have been burgundy-colored, according to witnesses.

If you have information about this crime, you’re asked to call the Palm Springs Police Department at 760-778-8411 or Crime Stoppers at 760-341-7867.
