Armed robbers steal $1,000 worth of bottled controlled narcotics

Police are asking for the public's help in locating two men suspected of robbing a business at gunpoint on Thursday evening.

According to the Beaumont Police Department, the armed robbery happened at a business on the 1600 block of E. 6th Street.

Employees told officers that two subjects walked in and pointed a handgun at them, then went behind the counter and took several bottles of controlled narcotics valued at approximately $1,000.00.

The two suspects were described as two black male adults, thin build, mid to late 20s. They were seen wearing dark pants, black sweatshirts and blue bandanas over their face.

Additionally, the suspects were last seen running northbound from the business and possibly leaving in a late 1990s-early 2000s silver 4-door Cadillac.
