Sunday will be the warmest day of the coming week

Cooler temperatures and another winter storm on the way

Palm Springs saw a morning low temperature this morning of 53° the average is normally around 49°. High temperatures stayed near seasonal. Warmer conditions will move in for Sunday. Sunday will be the warmest day for this coming week in the upper 70's. The average for Palm Springs today sits at 73°. A ridge of high pressure will continue to build through Sunday keeping temperatures warmer and the air drier.

Temperatures over the next few days will decrease, making their way into the 60's by Tuesday.

Another winter storm moves back in for the Thanksgiving holiday. Snow and rain chances will be with us Wednesday through Friday. If you have any travel plans for the Thanksgiving holiday, drive cautiously, and try to give yourself some extra time to get from point A to point B. Temperatures will cool down significantly with some spots in the desert reaching the upper 50's by Friday for high temperatures.

1-3 feet if snow is possible for the mountains. The National Weather Service may issue a Winter Storm Watch and Flash Flood Watch as early as Sunday for parts of Southern California.
