Six arrested in marijuana sting

Six people are behind bars after San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department seized over 350 marijuana plants from the suspects homes. Sheriff deputies served two search warrants in the communities of Landers and Twentynine Palms. The locations were not related to each other. San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department reports the large amount of marijuana seized at each location

Vote-by-mail ballots arrive Monday

About 86,000 vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed to voters starting Monday for the consolidated general election on November 3. Officials with the Riverside County Registrar of Voters Office said ballots should arrive in mailboxes by the end of next week. Completed ballots must be received at the Registrar of Voters Office or any polling place
