Valley plastic surgeon and wife breach plea agreement
Dr. David Morrow owner of the Morrow Institute is facing a Notice Declaring Breach of Plea Agreement after disobeying court’s order to appear at a status hearing, failing to comply with terms of his release on bond and providing false information on the United States probation office.
David Morrow and his wife Linda Morrow – executive director of the Rancho Mirage cosmetic center – were charged with orchestrating a million-dollar health care fraud scheme in which plastic surgery procedures will be billed as medically necessary.
The defendants plead guilty to those charges along with tax and mail charges.
According to federal investigators the two wire transferred millions of dollars from different accounts and loans.They also sold their $9.45 million Beverly Hills home and several cars before their sentencing.
David Morrow was expected to be sentenced in August to two federal charges but he did not appear in court, thus becoming a fugitive along with his wife.
