The Foundation for Palm Springs Unified School District receive Berger Foundation grant

Our Spotlight Grant recipient for September is the The Foundation for Palm Springs Unified School District.

The Foundation is a nonprofit for the school district that aims to strengthen schools and create opportunities for students to achieve.

100% of the money awarded from the Spotlight Grant will be distributed through the Foundation’s micro-grant program.

The Foundation’s Classroom Grants Program provides funding directly to teachers and/or administrators for teacher-originated projects that existing budgets cannot cover.

The grant will ensure that teachers can purchase the necessary means to enhance learning and engage their students through scholastically enriched projects.

Books, calculators, laptops, art supplies, field trips, musical instruments, student literary magazines, robotic equipment, artist-in-residence programs, even new theatrical scrim.

More information on The Foundation can be found here.
